Village life, upstairs bedrooms
Westchase's villages were designed around front porches and community — and around two-story floor plans where the bedrooms live upstairs. It is a wonderful way to live until the stairs become the toll you pay for your own bedroom. We fit stairlifts in Westchase homes regularly, and the village floor plans are cooperative: straight staircases, good width, solid construction.
The townhome sections add the vertical-living pattern: garage below, living in the middle, bedrooms on top. One straight lift on the main flight usually covers the essential path. The folding design keeps stairs shared space for the whole household — important in homes where teenagers, parents, and grandparents all use the same staircase.
Deed restrictions and approvals
Westchase has active community associations, so let us address it directly: interior stairlifts do not alter your home's exterior and virtually never trigger architectural review. The rail mounts inside, on your stair treads. If your village association asks for documentation, we provide it — measurements, mounting method, installer credentials. In practice, this is a non-issue, but we are ready if anyone asks.
