Brandon's split-levels were not designed for bad knees
Drive through Brandon's established neighborhoods and you will see the same floor plan again and again: the split-level ranch, with its half-flight up to the bedrooms and half-flight down to the family room. It was a clever 1970s design for young families. Fifty years later, those half-flights are the whole problem — too many stairs to ignore, in a house you have no intention of leaving.
Split-level stairs are actually ideal for stairlifts. The flights are short and straight, which means quick installation and a lift that solves the entire circulation problem of the house: one lift on the up-flight restores the bedrooms, and the down-flight is often manageable or gets its own unit. During our free assessment we map both flights and give you options — one lift or two, depending on your needs and budget.
Two-story homes and townhomes
Brandon's newer east-side developments added plenty of full two-story homes, and the townhome communities along the crosstown corridor put bedrooms upstairs as a matter of course. For these, a straight stairlift on the main flight is the standard answer — installed in one visit, folding away when not in use so the stairs stay shared family space.
Whatever your layout, the process is the same: we come to you, measure precisely, and put a written estimate in your hands. No pressure, no obligation — just straight answers about your stairs.
